Q-Mag® automatically removes metal particles from a medium. The medium spirals around the rotating magnet, which significantly increases the chance that fines will be attracted by the magnetic field. What makes it so effective?
Particles, attracted by the magnet do not get a chance to build up on the magnet and cover it completely. The continuous rotation of the magnet, in combination with the fixed Archimedes screw, creates a screw conveyor which continuously transports the particles, which are on the surface of the magnet, downwards to the bottom end. Here they fall into the collection chamber which is emptied automatically. As a result, the magnet stays clean without interrupting the flow or removing the magnet. The magnet can constantly apply its full magnetic power and attract particles. In this way, there is always continuous separation.
