Customer-specific Suparator® System for solvent separation.

Solution for the separation of a specific solvent from water, which is used in the production of high performance fibers. The separated solvent will be reused for production and the treated water will be prepared for re-use.

We first designed this special Suparator® System (based on previous similar projects) as a separate project. After customer’s approval we later received the order for supply of the complete unit.

This specific Suparator® System contains:

• 2 fully independent separation loops of 4m³ each
• 1 effluent compartment with 2 special effluent pumps
• 1 solvent tank including solvent recirculation pump and waste solvent pump
• Complying with petro-chemical standards
• Airtight system with nitrogen blanket.
• System is controlled by level-, flow-, pressure- and temperature sensors.
• Control System, Siemens based including software and 12″ Siemens HMI with detailed visualization of the process.

The project also includes:

• Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Special transport to site
• Partially dismantling before positioning and installation in the factory
• Final assembly on site
• Start-up support and training on-site
