What filter cloth should I use?

Although Q-filter® can handle almost any type of cloth, there are some restrictions to consider. One is that it should not be possible that dirt and particles are pulled through the cloth, due to the high vacuum. That makes thin cloths and cloth which can be stretched easily, less suitable for use with Q-Filter®.

What we use most is a thicker, heavier (300 gr/m2), cloth which allows for a very good filter cake build-up. The result is very fine filtration with little cloth used. Even though the heavier filter cloth costs more per m2 due to the limited number of m2 used it offers a very economical solution. In some applications it even made a 50% reduction in filtration cost possible.
